Summary:


We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced sales representative to join our team, develop creative ways to sell our products, and drive the sales and business development activities of our products to retail channels. The sales representative will use innovative and proven methods to identify and close sales opportunities with new and existing customers. The sales representative will report to the VP of Sales, with 80% of their energy, resources, and time focused on lead generation and sales.

 

The ideal candidate is an action-oriented, resourceful, hands-on, results-driven individual, with a solid sales background in retail channels, who is not afraid to do the work – as each team member is a builder and a doer.  We are looking for a sales representative with experience in building relationships, guiding, and growing a business, and with the creativity and drive needed to manage high volume and high touch approaches across our target audiences.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop new leads, identify prospects, and build relationships with key decision makers.
  • Build and manage a strategic sales plan and pipeline of qualified leads.
  • Analyze industry market trends, products, and pricing.
  • Identify and address tactical barriers to retail channel sales growth.
  • Maintain accurate and complete customer records.
  • Achieve sales goals; track and report progress.


Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business or related field
  • 5+ years of experience in sales (diagnostics/biotech/medical products, a plus) to retail channels
  • Proven track record of success
  • Familiarity with Salesforce, or other CRM tools, a plus
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
  • Excellent interpersonal communication, influencing, negotiating, and presentation skills, both written and verbal
  • Experience in a highly analytical, results-oriented environment 
  • Outstanding time-management, task-management, and prioritization skills 

 

Base plus commission:

On-Target Earnings:  $140,000/year
